Our History...
This 3rd Generation farm was established in 1930 by Audie Glen Moyers, whose daughter
Althea married E. Oscar Robertson. In the 50's a popular western television show starring
Dale Robertson featured a farm named Haymaker...Oscar decided to name their family
farm Haymaker Farm. It was around this time when the farm began it's business of Angus
Cattle Breeding. Over the years we have encompassed several different breeds of cattle.
Today's operation provides recipient "host" females, which are inpregnated with embryos
from various breeds of cattle. Valuable donor females of several breeds are sent to the
farm from the southern United States to have embryos transplanted into our recipients or to
be frozen for use later. Haymaker Farm works in conjunction with Harrogate Genetics
International, which is our family owned business. Along with the cattle operations, in
recent years we have added breeds of horses to our farm and developed riding trails and
stable.
